My Blogging Schedule

Somehow I felt the need to make a short post about my blogging schedule.

I just want to let everyone know that I have made a commitment to my writings by not going near the Internet on all my off days from work (Fri, Sat & Sun and any other public holidays). Because I’m that type of person if you let me go a bit loose, I go all the way.

So please know that I’ll check all your comments, make replies, visit your blogs & leave comments as soon as my writing commitments are done. And I hold you all dearly to my heart! ;)

Thank you for your understanding.

I need to do this! It's annoying that I often need the internet to do research and what-not for my writing, because it means I need to have it there. But having it there means I can always log on to facebook or read my favourite blogs. Very distracting!

Oh, Sophie you're so right about the Internet! It is both a blessing and a curse. It's also a mega-test to me on a daily basis! :)

Good for you! A dedicated writer is a published writer! So may it be!

I think this is a pretty good discipline! I spend loads of time reading, and then, I always admire and dream of the things others do, and never DO myself. Good plan!

I don't know why I didn't click when you said "After Dark". I love Murakami. His stories are so strange. Is After Dark the one where the sister is asleep in the room with the television?

Hi Barbara,

Love your saying and because of that I had an epiphany yesterady. Will write up a post later on. I'm having a tight working schedule this week ... :(

Thanks Librarian Lee. And psst ... there are weekends I just chill out rather than doing any writing! :D

Yes, Sophie, that's the part I mean! So obviously you've read "After Dark". Can't say I love or not love Murakami's writing. I found his books extremely intriguing ... Maybe to love Murakami is more an acquired taste. And you definitely have it. :)
