Blogging Frustration

I’m writing this because I’m frustrated and thinking if I’m the only one who’s experiencing blog problem or more importantly, if I have done something wrong!

Lately, I mean for the last 2 weeks of more, there were few blogs which I was no longer able to get connection or “operation aborted” message will pop up as soon as I try to leave comments. This happened both at home and at work.

I’m asking fellow bloggers:

- If you have the same problems?

- Are there any ways to fix this?

I’m sorry to bother you with this as my computer knowledge is fairly limit and with problems like this, I don’t really know to whom I should ask.

Any advice is much appreciated.

Yes I have been experiencing the same thing over the past 2 weeks.
I mostly use Internet Explorer to surf around but I have found if I use Firefox I don't have as much trouble.

Hi Peggy,

Glad that I'm not the only one who's experiencing the trouble. And as from what you said, I gathered it's related to Internet Explorer. Wonder how this could be fixed or the only way out is to wait til both IE and Blogger sort it out among themselves??!!

Everyone was having this problem. There may be a few who still are. The answer for me, turned out to be the same as your other reader, it's Internet Exploder...that's to blame.

If you use that as your search engine it seems that it and Blogger have run afoul. Once an I.T. person suggested I switch to Firefox, all the issues disappeared. It's free and easy to do. Hope it helps as I've missed hearing from you!

Internet Explorer seems to be messing up everything on my computer these days. It just pops up even when I don't want to use it. I think I may delete it altogether.
Try using Google Chrome as your browser... at least it's related to Blogger, and doesn't have bugs like that.

Hi Kate,

So glad to see you drop by. Your visit help to lighten up the day! :)

Looks like Firefox is the way to go. But I can't get it at workplace without raising an alarm. So this is now becoming tricky and an issue for me. Oh, what the heck is going on??!! Nothing works anymore .... :(

You sound like me Hybrid -- everything's just frustrating!

Just wanted to say, don't worry about this month's project. I completely understand where you're coming from. Better to rest up that creativity for now until you feel a little sorted out.

Trust me, Firefox is a snap to use. It works almost the exact same as Exploder. I am so not tech savvy so I resist most changes to anything on the computer. But, I promise, if I can do it and did it almost seamlessly, I know it'll be the same for you. It even asks you if you want it to learn your shortcuts and favorites so it can open them without a hitch. So tell it, yes, when it asks you.

Oh, and I have goggle chrome on the computer, too, but I don't like it as well as Firefox.

Let me know if I can help!
Hugs,
Holly
P.S. Dream about the angle tonight...

Hi Sophie,

Really appreciate your understanding as I find even writing up blog post is difficult ... the only thing I know how to do right now is to "sigh" ... Anyway, your supportive words are a great comfort! :)

Hi Holly,

Thank you for your encouragement as I think you can read between the lines of my resistance to change over to Firefox, hahaha!

Just like you, because of my poor computer knowlwedge, I basically refuse to change over unless it's absolutely necessary. But I think I need to brace myself for this one!

Will let you know how I go ...

Ah, the angels ... can you send say sixty millions of them to me! :D I'm in desperate need of some divine energy!

Yes for me too *sigh* on and off. Patience is a God send! Ha! I am still trying to buy some though!
