More Girls ...

Aside from dealing with the nasty neck / shoulder pain, I try my best to keep up my girl drawings.

Here are two of the sketches done two weeks ago.

"Girl 3" pencil sketch

"N Girl 1" pencil sketch

Right now I'm concentrating on the front view plus getting the "look" right, if you know what I mean.

Sorry for such short post ... have to be really careful not to overload myself with computer and drawing work.  (BIG LONG SIGH)

Hope you still enjoy my drawings and do let me know what you think.

Cheers and have wonderful day.

I love your girls. Their flushed cheeks suggest they have been up to something, they look wise, yet pure. Check out Amanda Blake on Etsy, she paints people who have really interesting expressions too.

Love the flyaway hair. They are coming along really nicely and you are definitely finding your 'look'.

Popping over from CED. Glad you are staying creative even through the pain.

I hope your pain goes away soon. Your drawing is so good, as usual, and I can only imagine how frustrating it is for you to not be able to spend more time drawing.
Take care.

Hi Hybrid J, I like your "girls"; I see thoughtful, reserve, gentle faces. The expressions make me want to know what they're thinking! Wonderful!

Beautiful drawings, they are lovely. I hope your neck and shoulder pain leave you soon.

Keep this up, Girly...they are gorgeous! That first one is my fave, so far...that hair....it taps into that fantasy that can make portraiture so magical. Then, again, I do have an affinity for this kinda thing :)

Makes me wanna pick up a pencil, paintbrush, anything, and get going!

Love ya and so proud of you!

The drawings are looking great. There is a certainly quiet sense about them - maybe it's the medium and style. Nice.

Hope your neck/shoulder pain goes away.

Hi,

So sorry to hear about your neck pain. Your girl drawings are lovely. So mystical.

Really beautiful. The eyes of the last one really connect. Strong and vulnerable.
