Wreck This Journal - Week 7

I didn't do much wrecking this week and I'm blaming it to the minor car accident I had about two weeks ago.

Don't worry, no one got hurt and it wasn't my fault! But I got really annoyed about driving a car with a huge dent on the door and the paint work chipping away. Anyway the car was scheduled for repairwork next Monday but I'll need to wait for 2 weeks before I could have it back. I think I'm acutally a bit pissed off!

And then Pepper's diahorrea came back the second time and we (me and my vet) had no idea what was causing it. My poor little doggie prince hasn't been himself for awhile.

So all in all, here are a few pix of my wreck work. I hope you all had a better week than mine. ;)

I sense your frustration... but look on the bright side, at least you know how to spell diorreah/diarrea...diahorrea!

Ahh, my fellow writer and creative, you surely know how to put a smile on my face! Thanks. :)

Hybrid,
I have two Scotties, which you may know. Unlike other dogs I've had, they both seemed to have more frequent issues with gastric distress.

I started doing the two following things, which when I told my Vet, he was happy to know so he can suggest it to other clients.

Rory & Fiona now get a daily dose of Acidophilus...in my case I use Eagle Pack's Holistic Solution...it's a great subliment that you sprinkle a mere 1/8 of a teaspoon on the food. So, it seems expensive initially, but it goes a long way.

The next thing I added which is great for keeping things smooth and quiet, is a heaping teaspoon of pureed pumpkin once a day. Not pumpkin pie filling, but canned pumpkin. It's also relatively inexpensive, and dogs like it.

So, you might like to try it. And, I hope that Pepper gets back to usual so you can get back to really wrecking!

Even minor car accidents can be traumatic Hybrid. I had a minor car accident about a year ago and everytime I drove past that spot I had a flashback....yuck. I'd be pissed off too being without a car for 2 weeks.

Sorry to hear your little doggie is sick. With animals and children we feel pretty helpless when they are sick and realise how much we love them. Hope he gets better real soon.

Sending loads of light and love to you both.

Poor Puppy, Poor Hybrid J. What a crappy week (pun intended.)

I hate when animals get sick, cause they can't tell you what is wrong, and you can't really reassure them and explain about treatment options. I hope he feels better soon, and you too.

I bet it felt good to scribble out some of that frustration tho!

I hope this coming week is much better! I know how annoying it can be to be in an accident. I'm glad no one got hurt.

And you wrecked very well! :)

Hope you have a better week this week and that Pepper is feeling better. Even minor car accidents can be very upsetting and I can understand why you are pissed of at not having your car for two weeks.

Good that no one got hurt though.

Happy wrecking -your journal, not your car - next week.

Oh poor little Pepper!! I hope your little fur-baby is better soon!! You really have had quite the week. I'm amazed you did as much as you did. Sending you peace and light and the same to Pepper with little, soft scratches behind the ears.
